Kooyong house

One could be forgiven for thinking that House Kooyong is a Brazilian brutalist masterpiece, yet it is very much Melbourne, designed by Workroom Design, constructed by Agushi and located in leafy Toorak.

On this project, Simone was responsible for the selection of furniture, art and object, striking the balance between creating an inviting family home and honouring the masculinity of the raw concrete architecture.

The process was simple for us, we have never met anyone so organised or perceptive and we know without her input, the house wouldn’t have reached its full potential. Simone nailed the brief perfectly and we are absolutely thrilled with the outcome

Simone Haag was also heavily involved in the aesthetic direction of Kooyong and consulted with the home owners on materiality, fixtures and feature lighting. Simone styled the shoot alongside photographer Derek Swalwell and the house is soon to appear in Belle Magazine.
